Template-Type:ReDIF-Paper 1.0 Title: A non parametric analysis of distributions of household income and attributes Author-Name: Hildenbrand, Werner Author-Name: Alois Kneip Author-Name: Klaus Utikal Abstract: We study changes of the distribution of income, age, occupation, household size via their marginal and conditional densities. The data consists of cross sectional samples from the population of Brithish households drawn over the years of 1968 - 1995. Estimation is carried out nonparametrically and no assumptions on the form of the underlying densities is made. Keywords: kernel density estimation, cross sectional data, income distributions Classification-JEL: C13,C14,C21 Length: pages Creation-Date: 1998-03 Revision-Date: Handle: RePEc:bon:bonsfa:575 File-URL: http://www.wiwi.uni-bonn.de/bgsepapers/bonsfa/bonsfa575eng.pdf File-Format: application/pdf File-Size: bytes File-URL: http://www.wiwi.uni-bonn.de/bgsepapers/bonsfa/bonsfa575fr.pdf File-Format: application/pdf
