Title: Equity and Coalition Bargaining in Experimenal 3-Person Games
Abstract: Laboratory experiments on games in characteristic function form have led to descriptive theories of coalition bargaining. No theory proposed up to now is completely satisfactory in the light of the data. However, it seems to be fair to say that the evidence clearly suggests a strong influence of equity considerations n observed payoff divisions. It is the purpose of this paper to throw light on this phenomenon.
