Title: Consistent Theories of Cautious Utility Maximization
Abstract: In an n-person game, players are assumed to have finite sequences of theories which they consider to be increasingly less likely. The sequences of theories are consistent if player i's sequence of theories begins with the set of cautious best replies to the sequence of theories about his opponents, for all i. General properties of consistent theories are investigated and a general existence result is established.
