Supervision of BSc and MSc Theses

Please read the following carefully if you intend to write your thesis with me.

  • As of 28 November 2024, I have no open slots for either Bachelor’s or Master’s Theses. Please refrain from any enquiries relating to open spots; this is all the information there is until the next allocation round (1 April, 1 June, 1 October, 1 December). However, if you are pretty good, do see below.

  • Have a look at my research interests. Think of some very broad ideas related to anything you find there, computational issues, or microeconometric techniques that you are interested in.

  • Send me an email with those ideas and your transcript of records. Ask for an appointment to discuss a topic.

  • Never, ever ask other potential supervisors in parallel. Doing so is terribly inefficient; you will hear back from me within a couple of days.

Please follow these steps. It will minimise the amount of wasted effort on all sides; it will lead to a good working atmosphere for writing your thesis.

Note: If I do not have an open slot for you, but you think you are good enough so that I will enjoy supervising your thesis, do not hesitate to drop me a line.
